About Me
I find it hard to put myself in a box, labelled with sticky tape.
I’ve been a product designer, project manager, visual designer, copywriter, translator, catalyst.. wait, what’s that now?
These days, I prefer going by the collective term ‘Creative’, primarily because that gives me more space to pursue interesting projects not bound by constraints.
Originally from Singapore and trained in industrial design in Tokyo, I’ve traversed the (sometimes confusing) realm of creative work and found myself thoroughly intrigued with User Experience (UX) design. My journey took an unconventional turn when I embraced the digital nomad lifestyle for two enriching years, spanning from 2021 to 2023, where I worked on the road while exploring Europe and the Middle East. Immersed in diverse cultures, I absorbed experiences that enriched my perspective, particularly in cultural nuances, design aesthetics, and UX principles.
UX design as I imagine is like that museum guide you desperately need when you’re walking through an abstract art gallery.
When the focus is on the user, everything that follows suddenly makes sense.
When the design is human-centric, the transformation is almost magical – that the world might just have become a better place.
Outside design, I’m most in my element when I’m sailing!
